Healthy Peninsula is proud to announce that, because of their expertise on aging-related issues and their role in bringing these issues to the public’s attention, Janet Lewis, Executive Director, and Anne Schroth, Healthy Aging Program Coordinator, have been invited to participate as “early adopters” in the Reframing Aging FrameLab. This intensive three-month training course was designed and facilitated by the FrameWorks Institute and focuses on research-based communications tools to help aging advocates talk more effectively with the public about the need for systems change and policy reform with the overall goal of changing the conversation on aging. The Reframing Aging FrameLab is supported by the Reframing Aging Initiative, a partnership of funders led by the Maine Community Foundation.
