Vanessa Hatch

A former Penobscot Elementary Tiger, I continued my education at Downeast School of Massage and shortly after opened a massage therapy practice.  After my first child was born, I switched gears and worked at Blue Hill Family Medicine for 8 years as a medical assistant.  In my free time, I love being a volunteer at the Sedgwick Elementary School, where both of my children attend. 

 

I’m excited to join Healthy Peninsula as the Healthy Families Coordinator.  I am a fierce advocate for quality child care and our community members who own and run their own child care facilities.  I am well aware of the challenges of working parents on the peninsula. One of my immediate goals in my position is to help parents and guardians find child care options to improve the lives and wellbeing of both the parents and children.
