Unlike government-supported agencies, Healthy Peninsula depends entirely on grants and private donations to carry out our work. Our primary objective—to increase opportunities for improved health and well-being for the people who live on the Blue Hill Peninsula and Deer Isle—is an enormous undertaking, impossible to do alone.
Guided by the principles of Collective Impact, we offer our skills of leadership and community engagement to bring multi-discipline groups of concerned organizations together to help develop solutions to social problems that have been brought to the forefront by community members themselves.
Consider supporting our efforts to develop local, sustainable health initiatives with a tax-deductible gift. Your generous donations will:
Build and support local leadership capacity to advocate for change and improvement in community health
Increase the possibility of successful programs and supports by recognizing the value of community needs and promising partnerships
Leverage other resources such as grants and philanthropic gifts in our quest to continued to address new community challenges as they are presented to us.
Count as "votes of confidence" in our work and inspire us to continue on as steward of community health improvement.
