I am very excited to be a part of the Healthy Peninsula family. I have lived in Hancock County for 28 years in both Surry and Sedgwick. The job of part time Program Coordinator for the Choices That Matter community conversations is right up my alley. As a former Program Director for Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County and a person who feels t it is very important to give back to the community, this job is a dream come true. Helping a family or individual make life changing decisions is an honor.
My background also includes care for private families, private gardening and several years in a variety of positions at Surry Gardens. I have served on the Board of Directors of Mabel Wadsworth Women’s Health Center, the Downeast Audubon Board and most recently the Maine Hospice Council.
My husband, Mike Rioux and I enjoy our time together at Toddy Pond in Surry, our families, our dogs and many outdoor activities. I love to cook, garden and meditate in the North Maine Woods
